Yuckies . . . .

A new word for Chickpea "Yuckies". . . Last week during gym class she was having fun but as she went up a ramp she stopped dead in her tracks, looked at me, pointed to something and said "Maman Yucky". I didn't know what she saw so I walked over to her and looked at what she was pointing to. I couldn't stifle my laugh, she was terrified of a dust bunny that was on the ramp and she wouldn't move unitl I removed the horror. It was only after I had picked it up and threw it away did she continue climbing. Paypay was there and asked what was wrong and I told him about the bunny and that it was a "yucky", he too laughed.

A couple of days later Paypay was giving Chickpea her bath and as she got into the water she saw something in the water and refused to get in until Paypay removed the "yucky". It was a piece of lint from the washcloth.....

Chickpea and I had some fun eating oranges yesterday afternoon. . . .

Un nouveau mot pour Chickpea est "Yuckies". . . . La semaine derniere pendant ses cours de gym elle s'amusait mais lorsqu'elle grimpait une rampe elle s'est arrete, m'a regarde, pointait vers quelque chose et m'a dit "Maman Yucky". Je ne savais pas ce qu'elle voyait donc je suis alle vers la rampe pour voir ce qui se passait. Je n'ai pas pu resister a rire, elle avait peur d'une mousse et refusait de continuer si je n'otais pas l'horreure. Ce n'etait que quand j'ai enleve la mousse qu'elle continuait a grimper. Paypay m'a demande ce qu'elle avait et je lui ai dit l'histoire, et lui aussi a rit.

Quelques jours plus tard Paypay donnait le bain a Chickpea et lorsqu'elle a embarque dans l'eau elle a vu quelquechose. Elle refusait d'y aller avant que Paypay enleve le "yucky". C'etait une mousse de la debarbouillette....

Chickpea et moi, on s'est amuse en mangeant des oranges hier apres-midi. . . .
