Lost & Found

A couple of years ago, Paypay gave me a pair of gold hoop earrings that I love and wear ALL the time. They and my wedding ring were the only piece of jewlery that I wore to Russia so I have a very special fondness for them.

A few days ago I was talking with Paypay, I touched my ears and felt something was wrong.... I was missing an earring! crap! I looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it. Needless to say I was very sad and I couldn't remember when was the last time I saw it so I had no idea how long it had been. I put the one I had left away thinking, I'll ask Paypay for a new pair as a christmas gift.

Yesterday, I heard Paypay say to Chickpea "Go give that to Maman." then a little voice said "Here you go Maman." I look down and she had my missing earring in her hand! I was so happy I probably hugged her too hard but it didn't matter my girl had found my earring. I looked up at Paypay and he said she found it behind the door in the laundry room.

Il y a quelques annees, Paypay m'a donne comme cadeau un paire de boucles d'oreille que j'adore et que je porte tout le temps. Elles et mon jonc de mariage sont les seuls bijoux que j'ai porte lorsque nous sommes alles en Russie et ils sont precieux pour moi.

Il y a quelques jours je parlais avec Paypay et j'ai touche a mon oreille mais il y avait quelque chose qui n'etait pas correcte.... je manquais une boucle d'oreille! merde! J'ai regarde partout et je ne pouvais pas la trouver. J'etais tres decue et je ne pouvais pas me souvenir la derniere fois que je l'avais donc c'etait impossible de savoir quand je l'ai perdue. J'ai serre l'autre en pensant de demander a Paypay de m'en donner une autre paire comme cadeau de noel.

Hier, J'ai entendu Paypay dire a Chickpea "Go give that to Maman." ensuite une petite voix "Here you go Maman.". Elle avait ma boucle d'oreille dans sa main! J'etais tellement contente que je l'ai probablement serre trop fort mais ce ne derangait pas car elle avait trouve ma boucle d'oreille. Paypay m'a dit qu'elle l'a trouvee en arriere de la porte de la chambre a lavage.
