Under The Weather

Spring is officially here and we can bid farewell to the awful winter we had.

During this time of year i'm always careful to not under-dress and get sick but all my efforts were useless... both Chickpea and I got really bad colds and after 2 weeks of coughing, sneezing, running after Chickpea with a kleenex etc... we're back to normal. The weather has been nice so we've been spending as much time as possible outside in the fresh air.

One thing I really hate about the northwest is seeing kids in shorts and tee-shirts while their parents are in heavy coats and long pants in 40 degree weather... really makes me want to wrap those kids in warm clothes and smack the parent upside the head...grrr!!!!

Last week Paypay promised to take us to dinner for my favorite food... Mexican... yummy yummy... but I was really sick and was in no mood for food just my warm PJs and my bed. We went last night and Chickpea loved the refried bean, rice and chicken quesadillas... my girl has good taste!.!.!.! even though her dad gagged each time she ate the beans...

Le printemps est officiellement arrive et on peut dire audieu a l'hiver penible qu'on a eu.

Durant ce temps d'annee je fais toujours attention a ne pas trop a me deshabiller pour tomber malade mais tout mes efforts on servi a rien... moi et Chickpea avions eu une bonne grippe et apres 2 semaines de toux, eteneurments, courir apres Chickpea avec un kleenex, etc... nous sommes redevenus normaux. La temperature est belle et on passe le plus the temps possible dehors dans l'air frais.

Une chose que je detest du nordouest est de voir des enfants en shorts et tee-shirts pendant que leurs parents ont des gros manteaux et pantalons sur le dos lorsqu'il fait environ 5 degree... je veux habiller ces enfants et assommer les parents...grr!!!!

La semaine passe, Paypay a promit a nous amener souper a mon restaurant prefere... du mexicain... yum yum... mais j'etais trop malade et n'avais pas le gout de manger seulement mes pyjamas et mon lit. Nous sommes alles hier soir et Chickpea a adore les beans, le riz et son quesadillas au poulet... ma fille a du gout!.!.!.! meme si son pere levait le nez sur les beans...
