Crayons

For some time now, Chickpea has been coloring with crayons and has been really good about staying on the paper. So good in fact that I didn't feel the need to watch her like a hawk when she had her crayons but just made sure that she didn't walk around with them in her hands.

Here I am doing the breakfast dishes and Chickpea is sitting in her chair at the table coloring away when the phone rings. I check caller ID and see its another marketing pain-in-the-you-know-what so I ignore it and look at my girl. . . well ladida Chickpea thought that she needed some color in her face. . . . how can you not laugh at that face!
