Where' s the camera?

Why is it that kids do the funniest things when a camera is not handy? Last night, we were admiring Paypay's new toy and I was trying to keep Chickpea entertained and away from the big screen.

I asked her 'Where's your bellybutton?' usually she points to her belly but not this time.... She lifted her shirt, smacked her belly a few times and then laughed hysterically. We were surprised at this gesture and all started to laugh and of course Chickpea kept smacking away. Oh do I wish I had my camera in hand because it was truly very funny.

Pourquoi les enfants font des choses drole quand la camera n'est pas proche? Hier soir, nous regardions le nouveau jouet a Paypay et j'essayais de garder Chickpea loin de l'ecran en jouant.

Je lui ai demande 'Ou est ton nombril?' normalement elle pointe vers sa bedaine mais pas cette fois.... Elle a leve son chandail, s'est tape sur la bedaine et a bouffe de rire. On a reste tellement surprise de cette reaction qu'on a nous aussi bouffe de rire et bien sure Chickpea a continue a se taper la bedaine. Que j'aurais aime avoir ma camera en main!

Sad Day in Seahawks Land

Yes, it's a sad day in Seahawks land... The Bears beat the Seahawks in overtime yesterday :o( We had our gear on and were cheering away but unfortunately it didn't turn out the way we had hoped for. Maybe next year... GO SEAHAWKS!!

Mais oui, c'est une journee triste dans la region des Seahawks... Les Bears ont battus les Seahawks en surtemps :o( Nous etions la avec nos chandails et on encouragaient notre equipe mais ce n'etait pas la fin qu'on esperaient. Peut-etre l'an prochain... GO SEAHAWKS!!

Not Again !!

Here we go again.... the Northwest got hit by another snow storm last night and this one left us with about 8" of snow. It makes me wonder if i'm being punished for moving away from the stuff almost 11 years ago. At least we have an awesome view of Mt. Rainier.

Pas encore.... le nord-ouest a ete frappe par une autre tempete de neige hier soir et celle-la a laisse environ 8" de neige. Je me demande si je me fais punir pour avoir demenage loin de la neige il y a presque 11 ans. Au moins nous avons une belle vue du Mt. Rainier.

"Your Dog"

When you live in the rainy Northwest you've got to be prepared for some mud on your pets.

However why is it when Momo goes digging in the mud, Paypay calls her 'your dog'?

Mais pourquoi quand Momo va creuser dans la boue, Paypay l'appele 'ton chien'?
